You've just purchased a beautiful new bed, congratulations! Now it's time to buy sheets, pillows, cases, and bed covers." So many choices " you may be saying "I don't know where to start." Well let's start at the bottom. Does your bed go to the floor or will the box spring be exposed? If the box spring is exposed
I purchase 2 fitted sheets. One for the box spring. Buy good quality sheets at least 300 thread count so they will stay nice after you launder them. Egyptian cotton is best but 100% Prima Cotton will also wear nicely. Choose color or pattern. This bed features millennial pink sheets. Choosing a bed pillow is tricky. There are lots of choices, Down, fiber, firm, pillows for side sleepers, back sleepers. The bottom line is its a personal choice only you can make. Personally I take my bed pillow with me when I travel. I pack one in my suitcase. It makes for a better nights sleep in a foreign bed.
Next who is using the bed ? A couple or a single person? If you don't want to spend a lot of time making the bed I would suggest a throw spread with a pillow tuck that can be pulled up and over the bed pillows. If you like to sleep warm in the winter and cool in the summer consider a duvet cover and pillow shams. A down filler can be inserted into the duvet for winter and a lightweight blanket can be used in the summer with a light weight coverlet. If you are like a lot of Americans you eat , sleep and watch T.V. in bed. If so look for fabrics that are stain resistant and can be laundered at home.
Last if this is a guest room always supply an extra set of sheets in an obvious place, and a clothes hamper. Just in case something happens. We need don't need to go there. Make sure the sheets are fresh. If the room is used seldom or functions as an office when it is not a guest room it is a good idea to spray it with Fabreeze before guest stay to freshen it up!
